History
Step into the fascinating world of Jersey Pottery and you enter one of Jersey’s oldest family businesses. From humble beginnings as a small tourist attraction in 1946, today’s thriving Jersey Pottery has become a world-renowned, award-winning ceramics brand, with bespoke orders and classic ranges featuring in over 20 countries.
The home of Jersey Pottery is on the Channel Island of Jersey, tucked between the south coast of England and the northern coast of France. Jersey Pottery remains a firm fixture of the local community, with commissions including a unique ‘Jersey Pottery’ serving bowl for Jersey Tourism to promote the ‘Jersey Royal’ season.
A true family business, Jersey Pottery was purchase in 1954 by our grandparents, Clive and Jesse Jones and three generations have built up the company to its current position. Today we, brothers Jonathan, Robert and Matthew Jones, steer the organisation’s daily development, ensuring the business retains its original ethos of service excellence coupled with outstanding quality.
